History

The Beaver Pioneer Cemetery (also known simply as the Beaver Cemetery) serves as the primary resting place for the earliest settlers, homesteaders, and civic leaders of the Oklahoma Panhandle. Located just south of the town of Beaver along Highways 23 and 270, the cemetery is an important historical landmark tied deeply to the "No Man's Land" and Oklahoma Territory eras. The cemetery holds the remains of the very squatters and homesteaders who fought for the territory's recognition.

The Gateway Entrance: The cemetery is famously approached via a dedicated road known locally as Memory Lane, located two blocks off the main highway. A prominent stone marker sits at the edge of the highway to direct visitors up this path.

0.5 miles south of town and 0.5 miles west of US-270.
